Probation Supervision Services
NDS Offers Multiple Types of Probation Supervision
Standard Probation Supervision
Standard supervision involves regular in person reporting, with all standard conditions of probation enforced. Drug testing, counseling, refraining from the use of alcohol, maintaining employment, obeying all laws and other conditions as well as crisis intervention services and community referrals are all part of this more stringent supervision strategy. Levels of intensity in reporting vary with the needs and risk level of the clients.
Targeted Probation Supervision
Targeted Probation Supervision focuses on one particular area of concern. This may include monitoring of insurance coverage, providing an individual with information on how to obtain their drivers license, or verifying an individual’s participating in GED programs. These are area specific supervision strategies and do not encompass all general conditions of probation.
No Insurance Probation
This minimal supervision stratagem for the individual who fails to maintain insurance coverage, involves the offender presenting information regarding insurance coverage to NDS on a monthly basis. NDS verifies the insurance coverage through contact with the agency involved. If at any time coverage is dropped, the court is notified. This supervision can be for any length of time.
No License / DWS / DWR Probation
When an individual is driving without valid license for whatever reason, this supervision strategy includes checks with the Missouri Department of Revenue to verify the reason for suspension, and subsequent guidance on what is needed to become reinstated or to obtain the license initially. License checks are run multiple times through the course of supervision. This probation can be for any length of time.
